Last month’s press release dated 17th November stated that Network Rail had completed the construction. The new £15m facility is still undergoing the final stages of testing and commissioning, with the first rail services set to call from Wednesday, 13 December 2023.
Sitting between Dunbar and Drem the new station has 2 disability compliant 150m platforms and 18 electric vehicle charging points and more parking than is available in nearby Dunbar.
The station is fully accessible with lifts and a new footbridge connecting both platforms, with good access for pedestrians and cyclists, but note the path from the Mart has not been created.
Tickets are already available for purchase online from ScotRail and information and timetables are available from Scotrail and live information should be available from National Rail very soon.
We’re updating our information pages, which hopefully will be more complete by the 13th!
