Michael Portillo, complete with his Bradshaw’s Guide, visited East Lothian towards the end of 2016 recording a programme in the Great British Railway Journeys series.
It was broadcast in January 2017, with Dunbar, Longniddry and Musselburgh stations all being featured along with a major feature in Haddington. Although he visited North Berwick, that part of the recording was not broadcast.
